Steve "Mancy" Dophim has three spiritual Guides who help him through life by advising him on the use of his powers. They are permanently linked with his soul. When he dies, they die. They are not allowed to tell him what to do, or to interfere with fate, but they can be used for protection when he calls upon them. Here is a bit about each of them.

Nova

Nova is Mancy's closest spirit guide. She has the strongest link with his soul, which makes her visible to everyone around (unless your character is the type who can not see spiritual creatures). Nova is quite reserved, rarely shows any anger or anxiety, but if you make her mad, look out! She will protect Mancy with every fiber of her being. Her attack is not physical, it is mental. Nova can cause hallucinations and just be all around dang scary in her energy form (which is ghostly). Remember the various ghosts from Poltergeist? Nova can do those. ::eg::
If you saw her, you'd know there just wasn't something right with the woman--her eyes are silver, with no pupils, her hair is sparkling golden, and she has a black diamond on her forehead (her third eye). Nova also has a very gentle, placid smile she wears almost all the time that makes it hard to know what she's really thinking.
Nova's children are Faulken and Mysteria.

Tori

Mancy's next strongest link is with Tori. She is the spiritual being that makes it possible for him to lead the dead Home. Tori has three forms: her main one, which is fairy-like, with butterfly wings (in the picture, she looks large, but to Mancy, she would be the size of his hand); a sparrow; and a wolf. None of these forms are visible to anyone but Mancy (unless your character can see spiritual beings). Tori flutters around and speaks to Mancy almost all the time. He's used to it. She's sort of like a chatty friend to him. Mancy often has mental conversations with her without anyone even knowing it. (Also, in the picture, Tori is clothed just for modesty; when Mancy sees her in that fairy form, she's nekkid.)

I vant to suck your blehd!

Grendel

Grendel is also invisible to everyone but Mancy. He serves as a go-for for Nova and Tori. Sometimes he predicts the future to Mance, but only when he wants to. The Grendel creatures (also known as Sleepyheads back on Neptune) are sort of a Neptunian version of an incubus. There are differences, though. With wings and fangs, they can remind one of a gargoyle, or a vampire, but they are neither. The Grendel legend says they enjoy seducing mortal women. There are definitely half-Grendel children running around. (See Drew Hatten.) In fact, Grendels consider mortal women to be their greatest conquests. During rp, it has come out that these creatures crave the taste of elven blood (yes, they do suck blood if you let them, but do not need it to live).
