SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailoryule, The Senshi of the Pagan Holiday Yule
REAL NAME: Endora Noeru (Her last name is the Japanese pronounciation of Noel)
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : Endora Noel
BIRTHDATE/SIGN: December 21, Sagitarrius
SENSHI COLORS: Red, silver, and white
TEAM: A member of the Witch Senshi

WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailoryule is able to call upon several magical Yuletide objects to help her in her attacks, such as light strings and Yule logs.
  • Yule Log: When Yule calls her attack phrase, a huge log of wood falls from the sky and strikes the enemy, usually on the head. Think of how much that would hurt. ~_^
  • Jingle Bell Rock: Sailoryule does a kicky little dance while singing, "Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Rock..." When she says "Rock," she holds out her hand toward the enemy. A very large rock appears in her hand, which she can then throw at the enemy, or it appears over the head of the enemy, ready to bonk them on the noggin. Sometimes two huge rocks appear on either side of the enemy's head and smoosh him/her in between them like a sandwich. This is very much like the Yule Log power, only with a rock. ~_^
  • Deck the Halls: This magical phrase calls up the various Yuletide objects Sailoryule can use to attack the enemy, like strings of lights (to tie them up, trip them, make them look all pretty), big candy canes (to trip them, yank them off their balance, stick in their hair after being licked), wrapping paper and huge box (to bundle them up like a present), and the like. As you can probably guess, this attack also has the potential to be funny (I pretty much demonstrated that with my silly demonstrations of how it can be used).
  • My True Love Gave to Me: Is Yule outnumbered, and in need of help? She just says, "My True Love Gave to Me!" and objects from the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" that reside in her room come to life. These items (such as ten leaping lords) come to her rescue, helping her beat up the enemy with their ultimate Yuletide power! (Like, the seven swans could peck them to death.) Another attack with the potential to be funny, but still effective.
  • Radiant Beams: (The title of this attack comes from the lyrics of the Christmas song "Silent Night.") Sailoryule raises her arms upward, and a string of colorful Christmas lights appear in her hands as she says, "Deck the Halls," per her other attack. She then lassoes the enemy with the lights. The string of lights wraps around the enemy and renders them helpless, while Yule's arms snap back down to her sides as she cries, "Radiant Beams!" The lights then light up, getting brighter and brighter as they feed off the enemy's energy. The light can be blinding to other enemies in the immediate area, also. The attack lasts as long as Yule holds her concentration or until the enemy faints from energy loss. The basics of this attack were created for me by one of my readers, Sailor Marla.
  • Boughs of Holly: Part of the "Deck the Halls" attack. If Sailoryule wanted vines of holly to use to tie up the enemy, she would simply call for them by singing, "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly!" The holly vines would appear and obey her commands as if they possessed their own intelligence. While singing these words, Yule acts out the decorating of the enemy with the holly, gesturing with her hands over her own body.
TRANSFORMATION: Endora's trans phrase is "Yule Wheel of the Year Power, Make-up!" A lovely Yule holiday song emits from her wand as vines of holly and rows of candy canes dance about her, transforming her clothing into the fuku of Sailoryule.

DESCRIPTION: Yule's hair is light brown, and her eyes are purple. Her hair is done up into two ponytails, which are partially wrapped in canvas "tape." When she transforms, this "tape" turns red and white striped like a candy cane. The fuku of the Sailor Witches is basically the same as the standard fuku, with a few differences--for one, there is no back bow. The bodysuit is a solid color; Yule's is red, as are her gloves and choker. Her skirt, gauntlettes, front bow, and collar are silver. The stripe on her collar is red. She also wears candy cane striped thigh-high stockings. The jewel in her silver tiara, the jewel in her choker, and the middle of her bow are all replaced with a silver pentacle. The rest should be fairly self-explanatory from the picture above.

PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Sailoryule was part of a team of Witch Senshi who all came from the asteroid Icarus, in our solar system. Witchcraft was a very important religion on Icarus, which is why seven people from there were given the powers of the Wiccan holidays. Essentially, they are the protectors of the year, and the protectors of their princess, Princess Icarus (Sailoricarus), and their prince, Prince Icarus (Soldierlammas).

OCCUPATION: Lives and works at the Valhalla Commune, helping to maintain a lovely park of flowers and fountains on Witch Hill.

AGE: 17

GUARDIAN: The Witches are guardianed by a fat raccoon named Rooreru, who thinks he is a cat.

SPIRITUAL STUFF: Yule takes place on December 21st. It is a celebration of the Winter Solstice. Many of the traditions of Christmas came from this Pagan holiday, including decorating trees, giving gifts, burning Yule logs, putting up lights, decorating with holly and ivy and candy canes, eating a Yule feast, and the singing of songs. All information on Witchcraft comes from Laurie Cabot's book The Power of the Witch.
