SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorvulcan, the Senshi of Destructive Fire and the Forger of the Jewels of Battle
REAL NAME: Kitaeru Tama (Means "Forges Jewels" or "Jewel Forger")

WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: She is the keeper of the Forging Staff.
- Destructive Burning: Vulcan puts the diamond in her staff to her forehead and concentrates. When she speaks the words,
"Destructive Burning," whatever she is thinking of bursts into flame. When she is not Sailorvulcan, Kitaeru can still use this
power to a lesser extent, but she has little control over it. Essentially, she has pyrokinesis (the power to start fires with the mind).
- Forging Deity's Fire Hammer: Sailorvulcan yells, "Forging Deity's..." and slams the top of her staff into the ground. She closes her eyes to channel her power and the staff becomes engulfed in flames from the tip down to the top. She then finishes the cry with, "Fire Hammer!" and the flames take the shape of a large hammer (or mallet, what have you) in her hands. The Hammer stays aflame although you can see Vulcan's symbol on the side of it. Vulcan can hold this flaming Hammer without being burned. Most other people, including senshi, would be burned badly if they touched it, except very pure senshi (like Usagi and all her forms) or very impure senshi (like Darkcosmos). It can also be handled by other senshi who have powers over fire. If one is not "approved" to hold the Hammer, they should not hold it too long--it will kill them. She can use the Hammer for defense (imagine someone waving a giant flaming mallet at you!), to repair damaged Talismans, to catch things on fire, and for delivering good poundings to evil doers. This hammer helped Vulcan in the creation of the Talismans; it is a good forging tool. The basics of this attack were created for me by Sailor Marla.
DESCRIPTION: Sailorvulcan has long copper brown hair which she keeps back with two long red barrettes. Her hair is the same
length as Sailorvenus'. Her senshi uniform has a red and copper skirt, with the colors alternating. Her front bow is copper with
a diamond in the center as is her choker. The collar is red, and the back bow, as well as her glove gauntlets, are light orange.
She wears sandals with a heel that have three red straps. The jewel in her tiara is red. Vulcan has a very sweet face with small
lips, rarely wears makeup, and her eyes are red.
The Forging Staff is a long black steel rod with a purple decorative stopper on one end and a forging tool on the other. The
forging tool is shaped like Vulcan's symbol, and is made of black steel. Inside this tool is a large diamond and a purple jewel.
These two jewels, plus her Destructive Fire, aid her in the creation of the weapons of battle.
TRANSFORMATION: Kitaeru's trans phrase is, "Vulcan Planet Power, Make-Up!" Her transformation wand produces a trail of fire, which
moves up Kitaeru's leg, burning her clothes away. In place of her clothes the flames leave behind a senshi uniform. Her skirt
alternates the colors red and copper. The flames move down her arms and through her hair to form her gloves and her choker. A quick
wind blows up her hair as the fire burns out from her hand in both directions, forming a long staff. On the tip of the staff, the
flames form Vulcan's symbol in metal, which holds within it a large diamond and a huge round purple jewel. The diamond that sits in
the middle of Vulcan's bow glows brightly as she holds her Forging Staff behind her back. She has finished her transformation into
Sailorvulcan.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Sailorvulcan is the creator of every brooch, wand, staff, and weapon that the senshi have ever and
will ever use, including the Sacred Cup. She forged them long before the Silver Millenium was attacked. When the kingdom was attacked,
the weapons were hidden away so they would not be seized by the enemy. Vulcan worked in secret to link all of these weapons with the
souls of their chosen senshi so the weapons would become pure energy (if the senshi who owned them should die) and be hidden away inside their bodies until the senshi was reborn/reawakened. (Yes, that sentence was a grammatical nightmare, but I think you see what I mean.)
Her home planet is the planet Vulcan, which was the closest planet to the sun. It was destroyed during the attack on the Moon Kingdom
and the solar system (I'm writing an attack on the solar system into the story). (Vulcan is of course a fictional idea, since Mercury
is the closest planet to the sun. I got the idea from the book The Power of the Witch by Laurie Cabot.) This planet has nothing
to do with the planet of the same name on "Star Trek." ~_^ Since her home planet was destroyed, this is why she is one of the Last
Senshi. The Last Senshi are a team whose home planets were all destroyed during the war on the Moon Kingdom. This is also why her senshi
skirt has two colors--to indicate that she is part of this team.
OCCUPATION: When not a senshi, Kitaeru is a student at Mirai Mugen University. She also works as a Library Aid there.
AGE: 18
EXTRA: Kitaeru's boyfriend is Ban Chochin, who is also Soldierhyperion. His sister
'Nori Chochin is her best friend and also Sailorsun.
Kitaeru has a guardian animal, a talking guinea pig named Argo. His forehead holds a small diamond. (His name is Argo because he's based
off one of my pet guinea pigs, Argo. ^_^ )
She currently lives on her own in an apartment near the university. Because of her connection to the Jewels of Battle, Kitaeru can feel
the events that surround them. When the keeper of a Jewel (Talisman) or that Talisman itself is injured or damaged, or overcome by Darkness, she feels
it. In fact, many times it causes her great pain. This, combined with her uncontrollable pyrokinesis, has estranged Kitaeru from her
parents. They think she has medical problems, and have taken her to countless doctors to find out where her phantom pains come from.
Finding no cause, the doctors have deemed her problem psychological. Her mother thinks she is possessed by a demon, and that is why strange
fires start around her for no reason. In essence, her parents are now terrified of her. Ban and 'Nori are all she has in the world.
MYTHOLOGY: Vulcan is the Roman god of destructive fire and craftsmanship. He is the forger of weapons for gods and heroes. In many cities
fish were sacrificed to him to protect against fire in the grain storage area. Vulcan can be identified with the Greek Hephaestus.
