SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorthanatos, the Senshi of Fate
ASSUMED NAME: Julian Ramiro (Ramiro means Supreme Judge; I picked Julian for her first name just because I liked it)
REAL NAME: Queen Julian Thanatos Icarus
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailorthanatos is the keeper of the Destiny Blade , a wicked-looking sword.
- Destiny Blade: Thanatos focuses of one of her index fingers, concentrating to build up energy. "Destiny..." She forms a sword-like shape in the air with her finger. The turquoise energy takes the shape of a wicked-looking weapon with blue jewels lined up along its shaft. "... Blade!" With a flourish of her hand, Thanatos sends the Destiny Blade at the target. It slices at them as if an invisible person is standing there operating the sword. She can also take up the Blade in her own hands and fight hand-to-hand with it.
TRANSFORMATION: Julian cries, "Thanatos Planet Power, Make-up!" She stretches out her arms as she appears inside an oval turquoise jewel, large enough to hold her. She runs her hands over its inner surface like she was looking for a way out; every place she touches, pale blue light seeps over her hands and arms until it has covered her entire body. In a flash of light, her clothes transform into the uniform of Sailorthanatos. The jewel fades, then materializes in a much smaller form on the front of her uniform.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Julian is the queen from the planet Thanatos, which is in another solar system, in the Andromeda galaxy (fictional; I have no idea if there really is a planet named this in another solar system). She started out as a princess of Hypnos, but moved to its twin planet, Thanatos, to marry its king. He eventually died, leaving her to raise their child alone. During Silver Millenium times, she met King Icarus while he was on vacation to her planet. They fell in love, and she married him, going back to his asteroid kingdom on Icarus with him. Her daughter from her first marriage, Princess Thanatos, stayed behind to take over her kingdom. This marriage was seen as an act of good will between solar systems, so most people had no problem with the queen leaving. The queen's sister, Sailorhypnos, traveled between planets to visit her sister and help her niece in the first years of her leadership of the Thanatosian kingdom. Julian had two children with King Icarus, Soldierlammas and Sailoricarus. When the two were killed during the battle with Queen Beryl and Metallia, she was so stricken with grief that she went back to her home planet to mourn her children, abandoning the King and the kingdom of Icarus. Many years later, she came to Earth when she found out that her children had been reincarnated there, and took her place in Central Control as the senshi of Fate.
EXTRA: Besides being a member of Central Control, Julian is also the supreme judge of fate. What this means is that she shapes the lives of all human beings. If they want to take a turn in their lives that does not follow the plan she has mapped out for them, they must prove to her that they are determined enough to do it. This will be better explained and demonstrated in the story. It's really not as much of a dictatorship as it may sound.
MYTHOLOGY: Thanatos is the Greek god of death. Because there already is a senshi of death (Saturn), I figured there was no need for a second one, so I assigned Fate to the character instead.
