SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorsulphur, Senshi of the Dead Moon and the Element Sulphur
REAL NAME: Helenia Mirra
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^: Helenia Mirror
SENSHI COLORS: Black, lemon (light) yellow, and hazel brown
TEAM: A member of the Sailor Elementals
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailorsulphur uses a grey marble mortar and pestle for her attacks. She usually crushes up her
Sulphur Urchins and uses the powder they make to brainwash people or to cause explosions.
When the Urchins are crushed or spiked to the ground, they blow up (to varying degrees). They cry, "Bang!" or "Poof!"
or something to that effect when they do. Sulphur can often use these smoky explosions as cover for her to get away.
The Sulphur Urchins look like sea urchins (black spiny balls) with big round eyes.
- Mirror Entrapment: Sailorsulphur also has certain power over mirrors because of her mother, which can only be achieved while she is in her Princess Helenia form. Only in this form can she trap people within mirrors as her mother could. It is difficult to rescue a person from a mirror Helenia has trapped them in; only certain types of attacks would remove the person safely (as was basically true for her mother's power over mirrors). When performing this attack, Princess Helenia opens her hands toward her target. "Mirror Entrapment!" she cries. A rectangular energy field with black, crackling sides shoots out of her hand and crashes into her target. Several feet beyond where the target is hit, she now appears to be trapped inside a full-length mirror.
DESCRIPTION: Sailorsulphur wears the fuku of the Elemental senshi, which is similar to the original senshi fuku with
a few differences. The Elemental fuku has a jacket with long sleeves that sometimes goes over a bodysuit, but other
times is by itself as a top, as it is for Sulphur. The front of the jacket has the usual front bow on it. Senshi without
a bodysuit would have an exposed midriff. Elemental gloves only come up to the wrist, and the jewels in the choker and
tiara are triangular in shape. The rest of the outfit is pretty much the same as the original fuku. Sailorsulphur's jacket
is brown, her collar and skirt are black, her front bow is yellow, and her back bow is brown. Her hair is black with yellow
highlights, held up in two places by black and yellow striped barrettes. Her eyes are brown. The jewel in
Sulphur's copper tiara is yellow. The shoes that she wears are ankle-high black boots with a heel that lace up, like old
fashioned women's shoes. To finish off her fuku, Sulphur wears yellow tights and a brown choker with a yellow jewel.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: The Elemental senshi were from various planets, and they each held the power of a different
element from the Periodic Table. When the solar system was attacked, many of the
Elementals died in the battle. Their souls were sent to the future with the others, but unfortunately, some of their souls
were mixed with those of other senshi in their reincarnated bodies. This usually produced a confused, easily manipulated senshi
because of the resulting bipolar nature of their personalities. Evil can be a disastrous influence on them. Sailorsulphur is not
one of these senshi who got two souls; she wasn't even involved in the battle with Metallia. However, she has chosen the side of evil anyway,
as her ultimate dream is to serve the most beautiful and powerful queen there ever was.
Why? Because she is the only child of Queen Nehelenia, from the Dead Moon. The circumstances will be explained in the story, but once Sailorsulphur came home to a whole new mother who was now younger than she was, she vowed to find Sailor Moon and make her pay for what Sulphur saw as ruining her life. Sailorsulphur was shocked to find Sailor Moon split into two personalities, one so dark and beautiful that she reminded Sulphur of what her mother once was. This is why she has chosen to serve Sailordarkcosmos, the darkest, most beautiful queen in the universe.
An extra tidbit to Sailorsulphur's story is that she, like her mother, has a rather grabby attraction to Elios and the power of the Golden Crystal.
AGE: Appears 18
SCIENCE STUFF: Sulphur is an element from the Periodic Table that is essential to life. It is also a component of black
gunpowder, acid rain, and hydrogen sulfide, which in large concentrations will cause respiratory paralysis and death. Sulphur
has a very distinct smell.
