Sailorimbolc

Above art drawn by Nancy. Colored by Laurel. Her hairstyle was inspired by a character from the manga. As for the color I picked for the background of this page, PepTO BISmoooool... coats, soothes, relieves... ~_^

This character has songs on the Soundtrack!

SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorimbolc, The Senshi of the Pagan Holiday Imbolc
REAL NAME: Tabitha Mirukuno (name means Tabitha of the Milk)
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : Tabitha Murro
BIRTHDATE & SIGN: February 1, Aquarius
SENSHI COLORS: Medium green and bright deep pink
TEAM: A member of the Witch Senshi

WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailorimbolc's method of attack is by using the Imbolc Eggs, which are her Talismans.
  • Purifying Feast: Imbolc says, "Purifying Feast!" Multicolored energy forms in her hand, like the picture above demonstrates. She shapes it into an egg, then throws it at the enemy's feet, where it smashes. The motley milk inside splashes all over the enemy and rapidly hardens, making it very difficult for them to move. Imbolc could restrict their breathing or cause the casing to constrict around them if she thought it was necessary to contain them.
  • Egg Eradication: Sailorimbolc holds her hands up to her shoulders as if shrugging. An egg materializes in each hand while she calmly says, "Egg..." She then throws the eggs in a criss-cross pattern at the enemy, crying, "... Eradication!" The eggs hit the enemy and just bounce off. The enemy thinks that the attack didn't work, but after about 5-10 seconds the eggs crack and explode all over the enemy. The substance inside the shell has the consistency of a raw egg. It then starts eating away at the enemy's flesh like acid. The flesh disappearing is an illusion but the pain is not. The basics of this attack were created for me by one of my readers, Sailor Marla.
TRANSFORMATION: Tabitha's trans phrase is "Imbolc Wheel of the Year Power, Make-up!" Tabitha opens her hand to demurely show off a vividly colored egg. She promptly spikes it to the ground where it smashes, splashing her with the milk it is filled with. When the milk soaks in, Tabitha's clothes change to her senshi uniform in those spots. She produces another one of these eggs and opens it over her head, allowing the milk to pour over her body and change her into Sailorimbolc.

DESCRIPTION: Hair is a very curly bright fuschia, held up with a green headband, with two ringlettes left hanging down. Her eyes are medium green. The fuku of the Sailor Witches is basically the same as the standard fuku, with a few differences--for one, there is no back bow. The bodysuit is a solid color; Imbolc's is deep pink, as are her gloves. Her skirt, choker, gauntlettes, front bow, and collar are medium green. The stripe on her collar is deep pink. She also wears black heel shoes with a fuschia pompom on them. The jewel in her silver tiara, the jewel in her choker, and the middle of her bow are all replaced with a silver pentacle. The rest should be fairly self-explanatory from the picture above.

PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Sailorimbolc was part of a team of Witch Senshi who all came from the asteroid Icarus, in our solar system. Witchcraft was a very important religion on Icarus, which is why seven people from there were given the powers of the Wiccan holidays. Essentially, they are the protectors of the year, and the protectors of their princess, Princess Icarus (Sailoricarus), and their prince, Prince Icarus (Soldierlammas).

OCCUPATION: Lives and works at the Valhalla Commune, helping to maintain a lovely park of flowers and fountains on Witch Hill.

AGE: 17

GUARDIAN: The Witches are guardianed by a fat raccoon named Rooreru, who thinks he is a cat.

SPIRITUAL STUFF: Imbolc is celebrated on February 1. It is a time of feasting to celebrate the coming spring. Imbolc is an archaic term that means "in milk." The feasts symbolize a time for winter purification rites--a "let's have one last big feast before we purify ourselves" kind of thing. I threw in the brightly colored eggs, which are usually associated with the Spring Equinox, because I could not find a place for them with the senshi that represents that particular holiday. The holidays are fairly close together in the year anyway, so I figure you will forgive me. ~_^ All information on Witchcraft comes from Laurie Cabot's book The Power of the Witch.
