SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorhypnos, the Senshi of Sleep and Dreaming
ASSUMED NAME:
REAL NAME: Queen Dreama Hypnos

WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Hypnos is the keeper of the Hypnos Capsules, which look a lot like real medicinal capsules in that they have two sections and are full of stuff that puts you to sleep.
  • Miraculous Dream: Sailorhypnos opens up one of her Hypnos Capsules and pours the sleeping powder into her hand. The powder looks like little sparkles and tiny flowers. She says, "By the will of Sailorhypnos, (name of her target) will have a Miraculous Dream." Then she blows the sleeping powder off her hand. It floats in a cloud to the nose of the person she has targeted. They inhale it. If the person is already asleep, they have a very important dream that reveals something to them they need to know, but did not already know or had forgotten. If the person is awake, the powder puts them to sleep, and then they have this dream.
  • Morpheus Coma: Hypnos opens up two of her Capsules and then does a little spin-around dance so that the sleeping powder drifts out of them. The granules of powder are inhaled by her target, which puts them into a coma for 24 hours. Even if they hold their breath, the attack would still get them, because the powder floats around them in a cloud for at least five minutes, waiting for its chance to assault their respiratory tract. While they are in this coma, they experience vivid, extraordinary dreams that are sometimes prophetic.
EXTRA: Sailorhypnos is from the planet Hypnos, the twin planet of Thanatos, in the Andromeda galaxy. Her sister is Sailorthanatos.

MYTHOLOGY: In Greek mythology, Hypnos was the god of sleep, and the twin of Thanatos. Also in Greek mythology, Morpheus, the child of Hypnos, was the god of dreams. It is said that he is responsible for shaping dreams, or giving shape to the beings which inhabit dreams. I decided to combine these two into one senshi just to make things easier on myself. It's possible that I'll have a Sailormorpheus in SM Mirai, as Hypnos' daughter.
