SENSHI IDENTITY: Soldierhyperion, the Gatekeeper of the Sun
REAL NAME: Mombanno Chochin (Means "The Gatekeeper of the Paper Lantern")
NICKNAME: Ban (pronounced Bahn)
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : Kevin Apollo
BIRTHDATE AND SIGN: December 31, Capricorn
SENSHI COLORS: Blue and dark green
TEAM: A member of the Satellites (but not a *Sailor* Satellite, since he is a male)
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Hyperion is the keeper of the Hyperion Sunflowers.
- Sunflower Explosion: Hyperion tosses a sunflower at the enemy. It explodes with a mighty blast and a
shower of teeny sunflowers.
- Hyperion Climbing Stem: Hyperion calls, "Hyperion Climbing Stem," while taking out one of his Sunflowers. He whistles a jaunty tune while stretching out the stem of the flower; it elongates to his touch like a Sunflower whip. The elongated stem blooms with weeny sunflowers. Hyperion can now use this weapon to whip enemies, tie them up, trip them, play jump rope (you'd be surprised how effective that can be with enemies who can't jump rope to save their lives {like me when I was a kid!}), and other such things. He and his sister, Sailorsun, can even get out each of their whips and play double dutch with clumsy enemies! The basics of this attack were created for me by Sailor Marla.
DESCRIPTION: Soldierhyperion has short, shaggy red hair with blue highlights. His senshi uniform consists of a white lace-up-the-
front shirt, dark green pants, and brown leather boots with one spur. He also wears a short blue cape. The inside of the cape has
a white moons and stars pattern.
TRANSFORMATION: Ban's trans. phrase is, "Hyperion Satellite Power, Make-Up!" His transformation wand produces many floating sunflowers,
which cover him all over and then quickly blow away, leaving behind his pants, lace-up shirt, and boots. Catching a sunflower as it
flies away, Hyperion sniffs at it thoughtfully before letting it go. It catches in the wind, then stretches and turns into his blue
cape. He snatches another floating sunflower from the air and holds it casually on top of his head, striking a pose as
Soldierhyperion.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Ban lived with his family on Earth, including his sister, Sailorsun , until
they were both called to take on their roles as senshi. The senshi of the moon Hyperion passed her legacy on to him because she
couldn't handle the pressure (an involved story which will be explored in the fic). He accepted it happily and went to live
on Hyperion, although he traveled to the moon quite often to visit his sister at her job in the Silver Millenium.
OCCUPATION: When not a senshi, Ban studies at Mirai Mugen University, and works in the Library as an Aid. He is studying to be
a Botanist.
AGE: 19
EXTRA: Ban's girlfriend is Kitaeru Tama , who is also Sailorvulcan.
He has his own house which he shares with his sister.
MYTHOLOGY: In Greek mythology, Hyperion is a Titan. His name means, "He who goes before the sun."
