Sailorelysion

SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorelysion, Senshi of Paradise (Elysion)
REAL NAME: Junryou Kin (loosely means Simple and Kind Gold)
NICKNAME: Jun
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : June King
SENSHI COLORS: Navy, sea green, and lavendar
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: She is the keeper of the Golden Unicorn Stave, which is pictured above. This
stave is what is left of the Elysion Carousel that she and her family played on as children; the head
is part of a carousel horse (unicorn) that she especially loved, and the staff portion was the pole that
held this horse.
- Sacred Elysion Carousel: In tribute to this beloved carousel of Sailorelysion's past, she has
developed a power to mimic it. When she says, "Sacred Elysion Carousel," pieces of Golden Crystal fly up
from between her feet and put themselves into the formation of a carousel. They dance up and down like a
merry-go-round would before shooting at the enemy. These pieces of crystal are sharp and give off a great
deal of heat. They can do various amounts of damage to the enemy, depending on how they strike, by piercing
or by burning.
- Elysion's Pure Light: Sailorelysion calmly calls on, "Elysion's Pure Light," and a ball of Sacred Fire appears at the tip of her Unicorn Stave. She points it at the ground and it travels quickly to form a big, glowing, lavender circle around the enemy of her choice. The ground starts to shake and cracks open under the enemy (spreading only to the boundaries of the circle) and swallows them up to right under their chin. The fissure closes. The glowing circle reduces itself in size until the lavender light engulfs the head of the trapped enemy and fills them with pure Elysion light. If they give in and accept the energy, they will be "healed" for a time, perhaps all time. If they stubbornly reject the purification, they will wither away into dust. The basics of this attack were created for me by Sailor Marla.
Jun can use the Sacred Fire in all of her forms, but when she uses it as a civilian, it burns her.
TRANSFORMATION: Elysion's transformation phrase is, "Sacred Elysion Power, Make-up!" A ball of Sacred Fire blazes to life in her hand, and she spikes it to the ground. It sparks up all around her, licking at her clothing and body, creating the fabric of her fuku. Her face shows no pain from the fire; instead, her expression is ecstatic as she draws the Unicorn Stave from the sacred flames. Jun poses with the Stave as Sailorelysion.
DESCRIPTION: She looks a lot like her brother, Elios--so much so that even her fuku imitates his priest
outfit. Sailorelysion has white hair with lavender highlights done up in two loose ponytails. Like her
brother, she keeps a piece of the Golden Crystal in a unicorn horn on her head--the crystal was broken into
four pieces after the events of the SuperS season, where the entire crystal almost fell into the wrong hands
and destroyed the world. It was determined that the crystal would be safer if protected by four separate people,
making it harder for the entire crystal to be taken. Sailorelysion also has the red tear jewel on her forehead
that Elios has, which becomes a part of her tiara when she transforms. Her fuku is much like a standard sailor
fuku with these differences--she has long sheer lavendar sleeves and short white gloves. Her front bow and skirt
are navy, and her back bow is lavendar. Sailorelysion's collar is sea green, as are her... what would you call
them? Shoulder pads? The middle of her front bow has another red tear jewel, and her navy choker has a tiny
replica of the Golden Crystal for a jewel. Tiny Golden Crystals also appear as earrings. Sailorelysion wears
white thigh-high stockings and white ankle-high boots to complete her ensemble.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Junryou has been training since she was a child to be a priestess and senshi of
Elysion. Her family is full of magic and power as the keepers of the Golden Crystal. Elysion is paradise for the
chosen dead who get to go there, and part of the Underworld (the opposite of Elysion is Tartarus, or Hell). In
the Sailormoon anime, Elysion was part of Prince Endymion's Golden Kingdom, making Elios and his family servants
of the royalty of the kingdom. Elios and Junryou were children back in the time of the Silver Millenium--over the years,
their immortal souls have grown into the adults that appear in my story. Their adult forms reside in the 30th
century (boy do Elysion children grow slowly! ~_^).
OCCUPATION: Priestess of Elysion
AGE: Appears 18
MYTHOLOGY: Elysion was, to the Greeks, the place where good souls went after they died (Heaven). It was
part of the Underworld. The other half of the Underworld was taken up by Tartarus (Hell).

Sailorelysion has been asked to make an appearance in the Sailor Moon: Parallel Earth fanfic! Look for her cameo beginning in Chapter 7. (Azura's story and mine don't totally gel continuity-wise, so this can be considered a cameo that doesn't totally fit in with the history of my character.)
