SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorbeltane, The Senshi of the Pagan Holiday Beltane
REAL NAME: Sabrina Harudansaa (Name means Sabrina Spring Dancer)
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : Sabrina Harris
BIRTHDAY/SIGN: May 1, Taurus
SENSHI COLORS: Navy and deep dark green
TEAM: A member of the Witch Senshi
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailorbeltane is the keeper of the Maypole of Beltane.
- Sensual Leap: Upon crying her attack phrase, the ribbons of her Maypole strike out to wrap themselves around the enemy and hold them immobile. The ribbons can be commanded to constrict, cutting off the enemy's breathing or crushing them.
- Cursed Blood Dancer: The ribbons on Sailorbeltane's staff twist together as she cries, "Cursed..." The ribbons seem to do a dance in the air as they intertwine. Then using the twisted ribbons on the Maypole of Beltane like a whip, Beltane raises her arm and finishes with, "...Blood Dancer!" Everything appears to move in slow motion. Beltane brings her arm down and the ribbons shoot out at the enemy, impaling him/her like a spear. The basics of this attack were created for me by one of my readers, Sailor Marla.
TRANSFORMATION: Sabrina's trans. phrase is "Beltane Wheel of the Year Power, Make-up!" A long golden pole materializes in her extended hand; it is wrapped in lengthy ribbons of many colors. The ribbons unfurl to
flap in a sudden wind before Sabrina wraps herself in them. When the ribbons reveal her, fanning out in a circle as if invisible creatures are pulling at them, she is dressed in the fuku of Sailorbeltane.
DESCRIPTION: Hair is bright red, and her eyes are dark green. Her hair is sectioned into two ponytails, and then those ponytails are sectioned into four braids each. The fuku of the Sailor Witches is basically
the same as the standard fuku, with a few differences--for one, there is no back bow. The bodysuit is a solid color; Beltane's is deep dark green, as are her gloves and choker. Her skirt, gauntlettes, front bow,
and collar are navy. The stripe on her collar is dark green. She also wears black sandals with ribbons that cross over each other up her legs like laces. The ribbons are multicolored. The jewel in her gold tiara,
the jewel in her choker, and the middle of her bow are all replaced with a gold pentacle. The rest should be fairly self-explanatory from the picture
above.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: Sailorbeltane was part of a team of Witch Senshi who all came from the asteroid Icarus, in our solar system. Witchcraft was a very important religion on Icarus, which is why seven
people from there were given the powers of the Wiccan holidays. Essentially, they are the protectors of the year, and the protectors of their princess, Princess Icarus (Sailoricarus), and their prince, Prince
Icarus (Soldierlammas).
OCCUPATION: Lives and works at the Valhalla Commune, helping to maintain a lovely park of flowers and fountains on Witch Hill.
AGE: 19
GUARDIAN: The Witches are guardianed by a fat raccoon named Rooreru, who thinks he is a cat.
SPIRITUAL STUFF: Beltane takes place on May 1st. It is a festival celebrating spring and the sexual forces of nature during the month of May. This holiday is often celebrated by the symbolic dance around the Maypole.
