SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailoranubis, the Senshi of the Necropolis
REAL NAME: Jakkaru Kijou (This is a Japanese name she has taken on so she can move through Japanese society easier; she did have a different name on her home planet. Her Japanese name means Jackal Stout-Hearted.)

BIRTHDATE AND SIGN: November 13, Scorpio
SENSHI COLORS: Dark blue and deep, almost brown red.
TEAM: A member of the Underworld Senshi.
WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailoranubis is the keeper of the Mask of Anubis. This mask allows her to conceal her identity if necessary by putting it on. She can actually transform herself into a jackal or a statue of a jackal when she is wearing it, and then she can observe events without anyone knowing who she is. As for individual attacks, I'll detail those when it is necessary.
DESCRIPTION: Sailoranubis wears the fuku of the senshi of the Re galaxy, which can vary in appearance except for the skirt. They all (except for the males, of course) wear a skirt that is partially open on the sides and hangs down to varying lengths; it is not pleated like the typical senshi skirt. Instead, it hangs loose. There is a sash that ties around the waist and hangs overhand down the front of the skirt. The end of this sash is sewn in a point that would point down, of course, when worn properly. Anubis' white shirt has long sleeves, a sailor collar, and crosses over itself in the front like a kimono. A kimono would typically cross to the right, but Sailoranubis wears it the opposite way like it would be placed on a dead person, to honor the dead that she deals with every day. Her gloves are white. Anubis' skirt is dark blue and her sash is deep brownish-red. Her sash, shirt, and collar are lined with square gold jewels; her choker is made of these jewels too. The shoes that Sailoranubis wears are knee-high boots (brownish-red) with gold fake fur lining the top. These boots do not have a heel. Her gold tiara has a dark blue jewel in it. The sash on her skirt has the heiroglyphic symbol for Anubis on it in gold. Sailoranubis has short brownish red hair that sticks up sort of like a crew cut, but longer. Her eyes are dark blue.
PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: The Underworld Senshi do not have a place in the Silver Millenium because up until a certain time period, they were located in their own galaxy, the galaxy of Re. All of the planets of their galaxy died out and became dead worlds, so they came to Earth to take up the roles of the senshi of the Underworld. They did not come to Earth until after the fall of the Silver Millenium. Because they were not involved in the battle with Metallia, they have been alive for thousands of years (the senshi are immortal as long as nothing comes along to kill them permanently).
OCCUPATION: Anubis does not have a career outside of the Underworld; she spends all of her time there looking after the Necropolis. If she ventures outside of the Underworld, it is because of senshi business, or because of her infatuation with Sailorcharon.
AGE: Unknown
MYTHOLOGY: Anubis was an ancient Egyptian god of the dead and embalming, a mortuary god, with the head of a jackal. Jackals prowl the areas where the ancient cemeteries of Egypt are located, scavenging, which gave Anubis his associations with the dead. He is a judge of the dead and protector of cemeteries, or necropolises (city-size cemeteries). Anubis guards the scales in which the heart of the deceased was weighed to judge their character. He read the scales, and the fate of the deceased depended on his report. After the death of Osiris, Anubis was the one who wrapped him in the embalming cloths, making the first mummy. He also became the faithful protector of Isis.
