"I Am Creeping Death" Part I The finale to "Sir and His Little One" Written by Laurel, Karre, and Kaye This story is a work of pure fiction. The authors do not advocate any of the illegal or immoral activities of this story. This portion of the story contains some violence, so if you are too young to be reading such material, please do not read it. Background information: Clarissa Wolf's parts were written by Laurel. Muni Hauser's parts were written by Karre. Mimi has been explained previously. Twy and Vincent will be written by Kaye. There are lots of other characters running around in this part of the story; they are members of Clarissa's family who have come to Germany to save her. To best understand it, we'll begin at the beginning. Pine and Roland (both Laurel's) were a couple, she had his twins, Clarissa and Enic (Laurel's). Then they broke up. Pine met Vincent (Kaye's), and they got married and had children, including Willow (Kaye's). Pine's brother had kids, including Dagger (Laurel's). So Enic is Clarissa's brother, Willow is her half-sister, Vincent is her step-father (though she thinks of him as her Daddy), Pine is her mother, and Roland is her natural father (though she thinks of him as sort of a step-father). Dagger is still her cousin, as explained previously. Morgan (Laurel's) is one of the big bosses at SOPI who has come to lead the rescue mission. Twy is Enic's girlfriend. I think that's about everybody. "Creeping Death" is the title of a song by Metallica. The story will be told in e-mail/role-playing post style, simply because that's how it was written. It was surrounded on all sides by a black wrought-iron fence, the kind with spikes on top. There was a gate in the front part of that fence. For all intents and purposes, it looked like a regular home.:: ::Morgan's team prepared to move in. The group had been placed across the street, in the home of the Hamburr's, who had a very big front window. They were more than willing to cooperate with SOPI as the Hauser brothers made scary neighbors.:: (Morgan) You guys watch out the window, but keep the curtains closed, alright? We're moving out... ::Pine nodded, and peeked through the curtains.:: {{Before I do anything else, I want to give Karre a chance to describe the house and its security system.}} Subject: Re: SOPI 2290: The Factory Date: Fri, 27 August 1999 09:56 PM EDT From: Kaye <<::Pine nodded, and peeked through the curtains.::>> ::Willow was right beside her mom. ((I imagine they have a very loyal cadre of central staff. Most of which are pretty mean; they'd have to be, to accept Muni's kind of playing. They'd have to either not mind or enjoy death and blood. Muni can get quite messy, and he does not clean up after himself at home. The butler in particular I like; I imagine a short, compact, mid-40's man who is a sadist and likes to watch Muni work. Sometimes Muni leaves the butler leftovers to finish off. I'm sure some of the staff could fight but I believe the majority would be more trained in gadgets/weaponry/defense than have any physical prowess. Tell me what you think: The ground floor would be the 'public' area; where basic parties, get-togethers, meetings, etc are held. A large main receiving room, a large dining room and kitchen, a ballroom, a smaller 'smoking' room, assorted bathrooms. Decor is masculine yet tasteful, and very German. Biergarten [beer garden] and pool. Second level--guest quarters, gym, servant's quarters, security room, weapons room. Third level--the Hauser boy's quarters, along with specialized rooms for Muni's private 'guests.' Some are tiled like a locker room, with chains from the ceiling and walls. Others have enough accomodations to be quite comfortable, but there is no way out and nothing inside which may be used as a weapon or to damage oneself [for instance, instead of chairs, just bean bags, or large, sturdy couches which cannot be broken]. Almost all of these rooms have 2-way shatterproof 'mirrors' and monitoring equipment in them. There is a large, walk-in closet of Muni's favorite 'toys.' Doors are like the ones at Nigel's place; 'locked' and only opened by certain people's thumbprints. As far as security, there are the usual monitoring devices. If it's not too cliche, rottweilers patrolling the grounds, trained to attack on sight. Muni would say, "Not that they're very effective against real weaponry, it's just that people *expect* attack dogs when they see a mansion." Electrified areas of the home, like stairs, dumbwaiter, certain spots on the floor. Gas. Tranq guns. Most of the defenses are not set up to kill so much as stun/knock out. This is so they could capture, and Muni would be able to have fun with the intruder/s at his leisure. Basic weaponry like automatic guns. Anything Kristoph could dream up. What do you think?) {{Works for Laurel! :D I'll add some robotic security that Kristoph has created as we go along. And Mimi is on the ground floor.}} Subject: Re: SOPI 2290: The Factory Date: Mon, 30 August 1999 05:41 AM EDT From: Laurel {{Oh yeah, I'd also like to add that the doors to Kristoph's and Muni's personal bedrooms and the third floor bathrooms would probably be regular doors with knobs and regular locks, if that's okay with Karre. Just the special, secret, personal rooms that Muni and Kristoph use to do their bad work in would have the no-knob thumblock doors. On one side of the third floor is Muni's quarters, and on the other side are Kristoph's quarters. Kristoph's quarters contain his bedroom, very clean and well kept--he doesn't do anything nasty here; can't stand nastiness where he sleeps. Then there's a lab where he does his experiments in various Factory technologies and sciences. The lab has a thumb lock. Between the two sections of the upstairs is a hallway, with a large stained glass window at each end. There is a little bit of renovation going on in a side hallway that leads to Kristoph's bathroom; he's having an arched ceiling and a hot tub put in. Okay, I think that about covers it. ^_^ }} ::Morgan watched out the other front window as a child walked by the Hauser's front gate, taking her poodle for walkies. A band of frothing rottweilers ran up to the fence to bark and foam at her and her little dog. She picked up the dog and ran past the house.:: Those dogs could be a problem... We need a distraction. Allright, my team, move out. Stay low. Weapons holstered until we get close. ::Morgan and the two guards he had brought left the house.:: ::They circled around the neighboring houses until they were on the side of the Hauser home, hidden from view. Morgan could see no other way to take care of the dogs but to provide a distraction for them, so they could get over the fence without getting torn up. Then, if the dogs came after them, they could use their taser guns on them. He hoped this distraction would not be heard inside the house.:: ::Morgan swiftly picked up a trash can from the neighbor's yard and tossed it up against the fence on the side of the house. The rottweiler's sprang up, running to the fence to bark at the offending, loud noise. His team moved to the back of the house as quietly as possible, moving between cars and swingsets, and climbed over the fence with practiced speed. Not knowing if they had been spotted, hoping they hadn't.:: ::The SOPI team moved toward a back door. For the first time ever, Morgan wished they could call an entire SWAT team out to help, but knew they couldn't, because regular police meant possible discoveries of delicate classified information, aka a certain fluffy appendage sticking out of Clarissa's back. He tried the back door carefully.:: ::It was unlocked.:: ::Morgan hardly breathed.:: Either this means they are careless... or they know we're here... and they're welcoming us in. ::What choice did he have? He and the two guards quietly entered the home.:: ::Back in the German family's home across the street, Enic noticed that Dagger had disappeared from the front room. He didn't want to wander around this nice family's home, but he didn't want Dagger doing anything foolish either, so he casually went down the hallway and peeped into each room.:: ::He found Dagger in the bathroom, the door open a crack. She had her mirror talisman necklace laid out on the bathroom counter, and she was staring, concentrating, on her own reflection in it. Chanting.:: Dagger, what are you doing? ::Enic whispered.:: ::Dagger did not answer, because she was doing a spell that her guardian had taught her, one that was to be used only in absolute emergencies. It was dangerous. But she was determined to go in that house, and teach that horrible brute who had kidnapped her cousin her special kind of lesson.:: ::As Enic watched, Dagger's physical body began to sparkle, then disappear. Each sparkle became a tiny point of light that floated into the mirror necklace.:: (Enic) Dagger, what the hell are you doing?! ::Her eyes turned toward him.:: I'm going in. ::Dagger's voice answered, and she was gone, inside the mirror.:: ::With a worried sigh, Enic picked up the mirror necklace, determined to see it protected until his sister and Dagger came out of that house.:: ::Inside Mirror World, Dagger found her physical body subject to the limitations of this World. Her legs and arm were in the awful condition in which Muni had left her, though now wrapped up. Her face was still marked up, though healing. Dagger would be like this for at least 6 mortal weeks, until her bones healed. But she would only be like this in Mirror World. Once she got herself out of here, Dagger would be okay again.:: ::She raised her head.:: Show me the way into the Hauser home. ::One of the openings that was a mirror back into the Real World lit up with golden light, showing her the way. This mirror was a full length in Kristoph Hauser's bedroom, standing near his dresser. Dagger began dragging her beaten body across the grass to get to that mirror.:: Save Rissa... save Rissa... ::she said through gritted teeth.:: {{The details of what Muni did to Dagger earlier in the story would be too complicated to put here because there's so much story surrounding them, but I will summarize them: Dagger was in her Mirror World. A robotic probe planted on her by the Factory tapped into her brain (without her consent, of course) and gave Nigel/Angel S and Muni a virtual reality way into Mirror World. They went in and challenged Dagger, they fought, and eventually Muni overcame Dagger and beat her up really bad, breaking bones. Of course these bones were not broken in the real world, since only an extension of Dagger's mind can usually enter Mirror World. The injuries only happened to that extension of her mind, so they would only affect her in that world. Eventually Dagger was incapacitated enough for Muni to mess with her without her being able to stop him, so he tortured her by touching her sexually, which she of course hated. Some friends of Dagger's came into Mirror World and defended her until the probe could be removed from her head, severing Nigel and Muni's link to the world. During that attack, one of the natives of Mirror World, a kerflopple, came running up; it is an alarm clock (the kind with bells on the top) with little legs and arms. Muni smashed it with a rock. That's about what you need to know for the rest of the story.}} Subject: Re: SOPI 2290: The Factory Date: Mon, 30 August 1999 08:37 PM EDT From: Kaye ::Back in the living room, Twy sat down on a couch, a bit nervous. As Vincent and Willow still stared at the house:: ::Willow's bottom lip started to quiver a bit, tears were on the edge of getting the best of her, again. She kept trying to push the image of her sister being dead out of her mind, but it kept creeping back into her thoughts. She wished the thought would just go away, but she knew that until she saw Rissa alive with her own eyes that it would be there. Tears did over come her, they started to come down her cheeks, slowly.:: Subject: Re: SOPI 2290: The Factory Date: Tue, 31 August 1999 03:22 AM EDT From: Karre ::Muni emerged from his shower, toweling himself dry. He felt invigorated from his earlier activities. The groundskeeper, one of his most trusted employees, had laid hands on Clarissa. Muni spent the morning punishing him, much to the glee of the butler Friedrich. It would be interesting to see Clarissa, now that she had time to calm down. As Muni pulled his black drawstring sweats on, he heard the dogs fussing. None of the silent alarms were going off, and no one was contacting him. Since the dogs often fussed at things, Muni ignored them and padded to Clarissa's room, thumbing the lock.:: "Hello, Little One. Rolf has been chastized. But, you know about that, ja?" ::Muni looked at one of the many large two-way mirrors in Clarissa's room, currently transparent. It looked into a small, tiled room, with what remained of Rolf hanging from a chain. Various parts of Rolf the gardener were strewn about. Muni touched a thumbprint-sensitive contol and the window was a mirror again. Muni spoke into a small meshed grid.:: "Berta, please see that Rolf is disposed of." ::Muni walked about the room, speaking absently to Clarissa.:: "Rolf knew better than to touch you. You are *my* Little One. I should have suspected when he volunteered to bring your breakfast. He was always so grabby. Sometimes it was amusing, but, he was warned. Ahh, he's been the groundkeeper for over 10 years. How shall we ever replace him? Poor Friedrich." ::Muni chuckled.:: "He was so upset! I did not take my time. But, I was swift, as a favor to you. Friedrich shall pout for a week." ::The big blond german spoke as if he were discussing taking the allowance away from an errant child, rather than taking the life away from a close employee.:: "So. How are you this fine day, my Little One?" ::He looked at her appraisingly. Although she had every possible comfort, Clarissa was still not provided with any clothing other than his shirts. Muni liked seeing his Little One in his shirts. So sweet and innocent, her bare legs and feet peeking out from the shirt-tails, the collar loose about her throat and collar bone.:: Subject: Re: SOPI 2290: The Factory Date: Tue, 31 August 1999 04:30 AM EDT From: Laurel >Since the dogs often fussed at things, Muni ignored them and padded to >Clarissa's room, thumbing the lock.:: ::Clarissa was curled up in a little ball on the futon mattress, still shaking. If it was very important, intruders to be reckoned with, then he needed to be informed. If it was a determined salesperson or charity collector, then the proper people needed to be punished for disturbing his time with his Little One. I'll cuddle with you if that would make you happy. ::Give the baby his bottle, maybe you can stall...:: >Leaving Clarissa, he thumbed the lock and left the room.:: "Tell me." ::Friedrich stood there with his usual excruciatingly calm expression on his face.:: Sir, three fellows in what looks to be SWAT outfits have entered the residence. Gunter is doing a background check on such an organization. But we can safely assume they have probably come for Little One. ::Inside the room, Clarissa put her hand to her mouth to stifle hysterical laughter. They had come for her! They were going to rescue her! She was getting out of this hell hole and going home!!!! Her mind almost overloaded with the news.:: (Friedrich) Mimi has a bead on them, and she is not worried. But there might be some gun play. I thought you would want to know, in case one of them gets past her...or in case you'd like to... play... with them. ::An evil smile spread across his face.:: ::In the room, Clarissa ran and grabbed up the tray that her breakfast had been brought to her on. When that blonde meatcake came back in, she was going to clobber him over the head, then run like hell until she found her saviors. They had come to save her!! Clarissa stood to one side of the door and waited with a very hysterical, madly happy smile on her face.:: ::In Kristoph's room, the full length mirror began to shake as sparkles of light filtered out of it and onto the floor. They soon formed Dagger's body. She laid there for a minute, catching her breath. The feeling had come back into her legs and arm. Had the spell worked? He frowned with concern. Perhaps he should join Mimi. But then that would leave his Little One alone. He did not dare take her downstairs with him; the big German did not want her to be harmed, or taken from him. Yet he could not bear to leave her. Surely he was overreacting, but he could not take chances with his Little One. After an agonized moment of deliberation, Muni decided to stay upstairs with Clarissa. He could arm himself with what he and his brother Kristoph kept on their floor. An alarm clock with a broken face.:: ::Across the street, the group watched through the windows as one of the SOPI guards that had gone in the house came running out the front door of the Hauser home. He ran out the front gate screaming, with many rottweilers tailing after him.:: (Enic) If he's running out of the house like a raving maniac, then things can't be going well in there! That would take care of any guard dogs that might come after him.:: I'm sorry to take your dinner, but I've got to do something. ::Enic opened the front door and ran out.:: I'm coming Stinkyheeeeeeead! A strange tremor passed through his features. With a sudden snort, Muni started to laugh. Such a look on her face! He had never seen such a look! Keep it a secret! No, wait, they'll be expecting her family to try to save her. I don't know! Just don't say anything, and hope that they don't ask. >(Twy)"Ah, yes, the male. I hope you never catch her. ::The man who had met Kristoph at the door quickly sent some guards outside to look for Twy.:: >"I would like to see my brother now. Where is he?" Ah, he is upstairs with the Little One. Perhaps you should take your prisoner upstairs and lock him up. The two of you can "take care" of him later, when Master Muni is unoccupied. ::dark chuckle:: No no no no! You let me and Clarissa go! ::Enic pretended to struggle with Twy/Kristoph.:: ::The guard laughed again.:: So fiesty. The Masters of the house so enjoy the ones who protest and scream. ::He led the way into the main foyer of the house.:: ::Morgan was lying unconscious near the closest wall. Blood trickled from a wound on his head, where he had been smacked with the butt of a gun. The guards knew how much the Masters would want to "play" with the leader of this group of intruders, and Morgan was obviously the leader, with his lighter colored SWAT-like uniform.:: ::The one SOPI guard that had run away seemed to be the lucky one. Mimi was toying with what remained of the other SOPI guard. Part of him lay on the floor, while the other part was speared on the end of Mimi's metal claws. Maybe later on, you would like to play with >this? After Muni and me are through with him?" Could I?! He's cute! ::Mimi tickled Enic's chin.:: ::Enic recoiled with a grunt of disgust... and a bit of fear. The Dagger look-alike obviously had the power to slice him to pieces.:: >if you get your *claws* into that female that was in the yard also, you can >go ahead and do with her what you will." Goodie! ::Mimi jumped up and down and clapped her hands.:: I've never killed a woman before. Well, there was that stewardess... but Master Muni did all the work. I can't wait to have one to play with of my very own! (Guard) I will send some more men out to catch the other person who came in here, another one of these SOPI guards. He ran out screaming.
